Honorary Lecturer, School of Engineering, University of Leicester, Leicester, United Kingdom Ph.D. Alkiviadis Tsamis was born in 1979 in Athens, Greece. He is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Mechanical Engineering of the University of Western Macedonia (Kozani, Greece) and Honorary Lecturer at the School of Engineering of the University of Leicester (Leicester, United Kingdom). Prior to that, he was a Lecturer at University of Leicester’s School of Engineering and Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Carnegie Mellon University’s Department of Biomedical Engineering. Also, he was a Postdoctoral Research Scholar at University of Pittsburgh’s Department of Bioengineering and Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Stanford University’s Department of Mechanical Engineering under a fellowship by the Swiss National Science Foundation. He completed his Ph.D. in Biotechnology and Bioengineering at ?cole Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne and obtained a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from the National Technical University of Athens. |
